Please find attached the amended timetable for League 2 scheduled for Saturday the 10th of May in Tallaght. Please circulate to your athletes/parents/coaches and advise them, the organisers reserve the right to alter timetable; the starting time of events may be brought forward up to 45 minutes from the proposed Timetable. Please advise your athletes not to check in for their track event before their allocated time. BIB Numbers - Athletes who competed in league 1 MUST bring their bib number. Club officials who had bib numbers for league 1 athletes who did not compete should bring them with them for league 2. An appointed official should collect an envelope from Shirley with bib numbers for athletes who did not compete in league 1. Bib numbers should be retained for league 3. PARKING - IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION - As with most venues, parking can be limited. However some car park spaces are available at the club car park. More are available at the car park at St Marys Primary School (to the right of the entrance gate to Westpark/TAC and at the TUI College Grounds directly across from TAC. (closes at 4pm). When car parks are full, alternative parking may be found less than 10 minutes’ walk away in nearby industrial estates to the left and right off the Greenhills Road, or in the vicinity of the village. Under any circumstances should anyone park in the Astro Park. Please do not park on cycle or footpaths, and please be respectful to the stewards on car park duty. Firstly, a big thank you to all those who volunteered and helped make Dublin Juvenile T&F league 1 a great success and well done to the 977 young athletes who competed. Please be advised, due to the delay in the delivery of a new high jump in Tallaght there will be no high jump event for U12 and U15/16's in league 1 on the 27th of April. Instead, athletes U12 can compete in shot putt and U16's in long jump. Please find attached amended leagues 1 & 2 programme/timetable of events with changes highlighted in yellow. High jump for U12's will be available on the 10th of May (league 2). High jump for U15/16 will be available in league 3. Entries for league 1 close this Sunday the 20th of April at 23:59. Entries for League 2 close on the 4th of May at 23:59. All clubs MUST provide named officials at a ratio of 1:15. Any requests for bye's for U17/18/19 athletes should be sent to myself for approval. Only athletes who were entered for the Dublin's and did not qualify, or did not compete for good reason will be approved. I have spoken to the competition department in AI and was advised that qualifying athletes should receive an email this week advising them their entry is in the basket for payment to complete the entry(s). AI wants qualifying athletes to complete their entry on receipt of the email . Any athletes approved for bye's can be entered directly through the online portal which is now open. If there are any changes to the procedure, I will notify clubs. An athlete may compete in only three individual events plus the relay Athletes are confined to their own age group, but can step up a year in relays, and may compete in TWO (2) relays on the day. Dublin Juvenile Outdoor T&F Championships Please find attached the list of events, dates they are on and the closing dates for the Dublin Juvenile Outdoor T&F Championships. The programmes/timetables for the juvenile U10-U16 T&F Leagues will be circulated soon, and entry for all competitions, except the U9/10/11 Team Championships will be online. 

This years Dublin Novice 5k Road Championships will be held with the Tallaght 5K Road Race on 17th March 2025. Please enter the race in the usual way at Popup races https://www.popupraces.ie/race/tallaght-ac-5k-2025/. Novice team entries must be sent to pjclaffey58@gmail.com by 15th March 2025, using the attached declaration form. Dublin Championships medals will be awarded to the first three Men and Women Novice Runners from Dublin Clubs and the first 3 teams. Clubs must ensure their athletes are eligable to run in the Dublin Novice road race before declaring their teams. Qualification for Dublin Novice and Intermediate Championships. Any athlete who has not won an individual (1st, 2nd,3rd) medal at Novice, Intermediate, or Senior Cross Country, at national, provincial or County Level, is eligible to compete in the Dublin Novice Cross Country and Road championship. Any athlete who has not won a 1st Team medal at Dublin Novice Cross Country Championship, or a 1st team medal at Intermediate or Senior at national, provincial or County level is eligible to compete in the Dublin Novice Cross Country and Road Championship. Any athlete who has not won a medal at Track Championship at 1500 mtrs, or longer, at National, Provincial or County level is eligible to compete in the Dublin Novice Cross Country and Road Championship.

Please find attached, the Timetable for the Relays on Day 4 Saturday the 15th of February, the timetable for the Mixed U17 & U19 relays andthe Spraoi Games on Day 5 Sunday the 16th of February. Also attached are the Spraoi Games Arena Plan, the Car Park Plan and Relay instructions. Important Information Day 4 - Relays An authorised official from each club should collect the relay bib numbers at the check-in desk before closing time. The check-in officials should be advised if a team is not competing. Athletes should only be in the warm up area at the times listed on the timetable. Only coaches with wrist bands will be allowed into the warm up area. Athletes MUST be in the call room/assembly area when called. No coach/parent should go to the results/photo finish room. Day 5 - Mixed Relays & Spraoi Games The bib numbers for the mixed relays should be picked up at the check-in table before 9:30 by an authorised club official only. All Spraoi Games athletes who have been entered will receive a wristband, and these should be collected at the check-in table by an authorised club official only. General Only officials are permitted in the competition area. No unauthorised photographers are permitted in the competition area. On both days, parents, coaches and athletes should be advised not to arrive any earlier than need be for their event, as car park spaces will be limited. However, they should be in attendance before check-in closes. Please advise your members to place rubbish and empty containers in the bins provided and keep the area where they are situated clean. Please be advised, in keeping with what will be applied at the National Indoors this year, all 600m, 800m & 1500m contests will be run on times, with the 3 fastest from the heats awarded medals and the 4 fastest qualifying for Nationals, as is the case for all individual events, except the U12 & U13 600m where only 3 qualify. Please advise your athletes to. Check in before the closing time of their event, otherwise the athlete will not be Check in for all events, if competing in more than one on the day. If not competing in an event, please inform the check-in officials Not to check in before their check in time (this will reduce the queue). Athlete only to check in (no parent or coach) Failure to show for an event that the athlete has checked in for, will disqualify the athlete from competing in any other event (s) over the course of the 2 days of the competition. Keep the bib number if competing on both days. Warm up area Only go to the warmup area at his/her appointed time. Be present in the call room/assembly area when called, otherwise the athlete will not be permitted to line up on the track. Field event athletes can go directly to their event, provided they have checked in and picked up their bib number before the closing time. Leave the competition area when event is completed. All competitors, coaches and parents must respect the voluntary officials and stewards and abide by instructions and advice given. Please adhere to the parking and crowd control plans attached. Please place rubbish in the bins available or bring it home. No unauthorised photographers are permitted in the competition area. Coaches will be issued with wrist bands at a ratio of 1:10 competitors - this will give them access to the warmup area. Under no circumstances should anyone go near the results/photo finish room. Any queries MUST be raised with the track/field judge by a club appointed coach. The maximum number of teams a club can enter in the Championship relays is 3 teams and these should be named for example - Road runners A.C. U12 girls team A, B, C. Note: In order to seed/grade teams fairly, it is important that the A team must be the clubs' best team, B team the 2nd best. There is no limit on the number of teams a club can enter in the Development relays through the Entry4sport portal or through the links below. These should be named for example - Road runners A.C. Please find attached the Spraoi Games Competition Booklet, Arena Plan and entry form. Please ask your club competition secretary or club person responsible for submitting entries to complete and return the entry form by Sunday the 9th ofFebruary. All athletes MUST be registered for 2025. The completed entry forms will provide us with the information on the number of teams competing, and assist us in firming up the timetable, which you will find in the second last page of the booklet circulated. Team – Minimum of 4 athletes with no upper limit. However, clubs who do not have a team of 4 in an age group, can submit individual athletes and they will be facilitated. In the Spraoi games, athletes competing on an U9 team can't step up to the U10 relay, as they wouldn't be competing as members of an U10 team in the other events where points are scored. If a club has a team of 4 or more in any age group, only four of those athletes are selected for the relay. Only 1 relay team to run, irrespective of the number of athletes on the team. All participating clubs MUST provide 2 named officials with your entries. Designated coaches (DC) will accompany athletes to the warm up area, but can’t enter the competition area. All competitors will receive a special certificate. There will be no medals. Entry fee: 5 euro per athlete . This can be paid on the day or by bank transfer or check to the Dublin County Board.
